Using the HP iPAQ hx4700
The prototype version of V. Travels In The Netherworld runs exclusively from a hand-held device that has been made available during the exhibition: the HP iPAQ hx4700 series Pocket PC.
The device contains media contents (five short, episodic moving image sequences) that are ‘tagged’ to five specific locations distributed across the Centre for the Arts. These locations are identified by graphic markers that have been left in these spaces. Each marker coincides with a nominated piece of media intended to be viewed in the particular locale, situation or context.
